                         modos de flex{\~a}o. Durante o voo do ve{\'{\i}}culo 
                         lan{\c{c}}ador de sat{\'e}lites VLS, um fen{\^o}meno 
                         aerodin{\^a}mico at{\'e} ent{\~a}o n{\~a}o previsto causou um 
                         aumento na amplitude esperada para o ciclo limite da tubeira. A 
                         resposta inesperada do sistema de controle mostra a necessidade de 
                         um melhor modelo n{\~a}o linear do atuador. Este trabalha busca 
                         introduzir o problema e propor um novo modelo n{\~a}o linear 
                         capaz de reproduzir o ciclo limite em forma, amplitude e 
                         frequ{\^e}ncia, comparando os resultados da simula{\c{c}}{\~a}o 
                         com testes hardware in the loop pr{\'e}vios. ABSTRACT: In the 
                         design of control systems for space vehicles, nonlinear phenomena 
                         such as the arising of limit cycles are often cause for concern, 
                         given their sensibility to bending mode attenuation strategies. 
                         During flight of the Brazilian satellite launcher VLS, a 
                         previously unpredicted aerodynamic event created an increase in 
                         the expected limit cycle nozzle amplitude. Such unforeseen 
                         response by the control system shows the need of better actuator 
                         nonlinear models. This work aims to introduce the issue and 
                         propose a new nonlinear model capable of reproducing the limit 
                         cycle in shape, amplitude and frequency, comparing the simulation 
                         results to previous hardware in the loop tests.",
